Photograph caption dated October 17, 1967 reads, "Draftees, at left, walk into Armed Forces induction center at 1031 S. Broadway while anti-Vietnam war demonstrators, in foreground, attempt to distribute pamphlets to them. Earlier, police arrested 19 demonstrators who assertedly refused to disperse after having blocked doorway to the center."
