Description
Elaine Feinstein discusses her novel, “The Border.” She begins by explaining that her book is about a Jewish couple who live in Vienna during World War II and must survive the Nazi invasion. She talks about how many Jews would lie to authorities about their religious backgrounds. She discusses how marriages can dissipate after many years. Feinstein talks about how she wrote the book to explore her Jewish and European heritage. She ends the interview by talking about how she was fascinated by things that happened around the border between France and Spain.
