Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated March 29, 1961 partially reads, "The Boy Scout oath meant so much to 10-year-old Sheldon Moskowitz he waited two days before telling police he had been beaten and robbed by an older boy while two others watched...the youngster told police he was accosted in a parking lot at Sherman Way and Van Nuys boulevard by three boys Sunday afternoon and was hit with a board and beaten by one of them. Sheldon told police he promised the older boy he wouldn't tell who did it. And he swore it by the 'Scout's Oath,' he said."
