Photographic portrait of General Albert Sydney Johnston, [s.d.]. Johnston is shown full length and is standing while resting his arm on a podium at right. He is slightly facing to the right. He is visible wearing a civilian suit consisting of a dark jacket, dark pants, dark vest and light shirt. He has dark hair that is thinning on top but is otherwise long enough to cover his ears. He has a dark moustache, and is standing in a room full of marble podiums and platforms. Considered one of the best generals in America, Johnston served with the Confederate Army during the Civil War and was killed at the Battle of Shiloh.
