Photograph caption dated March 5, 1964 reads, "Steve Johnson of Monroe High School shows the form that makes him one of the finest high school shot-putters to ever come out of the Valley. Johnson has already thrown the iron ball 57-7 this season and will be looking for 60 feet tomorrow when Monroe meets Van Nuys."
