Description
Photograph of an Indian graveyard in San Pascaual, "Where Alesandro left Ramona while he sold his violin"-- referring to the novel "Romona" by Helen Hunt Jackson, ca.1887. A small cemetery, surrounded by a low-lying aged wall, sits at left, and several crosses poke out of it. Around it, a field of grass lies, and rows of trees can be seen in the background, leading up to the distant mountainside.
