Photograph of a student in a dormitory, USC, ca.1907. The student is lying on his bed. ".. picture ... probably was made around 1907. Two things point to this: The '07' figures near the ceiling and the "sombrero" hanging on the bedpost. Only seniors were allowed to wear the sombrero. Close examination reveals pretty-girl pinups, some kind of a memorial poster to President William McKinley, paper streamers, and, at the extreme lower right, a wash basin and water pitcher [can be seen]" -- The Trojan gallery, p. 248.
