Description
Photographic portrait of six couples of "La Jota" Spanish dancers in various poses led by Jose Rivera, 1910. Men in bolero suits and women dressed in light-colored blouses, skirts and bolero vests dance with their arms raised at various levels while a mariachi band plays at right. A small boy stands in front of them. The second woman from the left in the front row of the dancers holds two hands from different people, the rightmost of which is obscured by another dancer. Forest is visible in the background.
