Description
The "General Grant" tree in General Grant's Grove. Many of the trees within this grove have been given names; the General Grant is the largest tree in the grove with a base diameter of 40.3 feet. This grove, along with the rest of General Grant National Park, was added to Kings Canyon National Park in an effort to preserve this grove of giant sequoias.
