Postcard of a photograph of an interior view showing the front hall and door of the Winchester "Mystery" House, Santa Clara (near San Jose), California, 1923. Closed double leaded-glass doors open into an adjacent room. The lower part of the walls is paneled with wood, the upper portion is plastered. The ceiling of the corridor has recessed decorative plaster or tin panels. A decorative wooden cornice runs along the top of the walls. A metal sculpture of balls and curliques decorates the top of the newel post at left. The front double door has 4 glass panels and a horizontal glass panel above.
