Description
View of Bouquet Reservoir, an integral part of the Los Angeles Aqueduct system located about 15 miles west of the city of Palmdale. The dam, built in 1934, has a capacity of 36,500 acre feet and is formed by Bouquet Canyon Dam on Bouquet Creek. Constructed of earthfill, the 190' (58 m) tall dam stores water and regulates releases in case there is an interruption in water movement upstream. Photo dated: April 14, 1937.
