This is a photograph of "Fushun Seminary students cast in a play given for Fr. Mullen." The play took place at the Feast of St. Francis. They are all in costume. Rev. Mullen was born in Pittston, PA. He entered The Venard, Maryknoll's Apostolic College, in 1919, and was ordained in 1928. He was assigned to Fushun, Manchuria, returning to the U.S. in 1937. He returned to Manchuria in 1939 and was repatriated aboard the Swedish refugee ship Gripsholm in 1942.
