Description
Taken in circa 1975, this photograph of the K Street Mall shows pedestrians passing by an open intersection of Seventh and K streets by J.C. Penneys at 630 K Street. It was opened in January 1957. In the background, and to the left, is the Ochsner Building. A faux street car moves in the distance.
