Description
Caption from February 27, 1982 Sacramento Bee reads, "Lenten Theme: Henriette Doglietto, left, was the artist directing a group of parishioners in hanging this cloth triptych (three-paneled picture), as part of the Lenten observance at St. Philomene's Catholic Church. The triptych is designed to portray the journey of faith: The left-hand panel depicts a smooth simple path; the center panel moves into adult life and the route joins the cross, and the final panel portrays a wide road expanding out in service. The pastor of St. Philomene's, the Rev. James O'Dea, is on the right."
