Description: Known throughout the world is the "Ship Cafe" on Venice pier. This restaurant, built in the form of a boat, was placed on the "pike" in 1921 after the disastrous fire. Its owners recently spent $50,000 for a new driveway to its parking lot. Photo dated: January 12, 1946.
