Photograph article dated January 15, 1949 partially reads, "More than 200 aristocrats of the cat world are on exhibit today and tomorrow at Hollywood Masonic Temple, 6840 Hollywood Blvd., in the Western Cat Club's second annual all-breed show." Pictured is "comrade," the only solid red peke-faced Persian on coast. His owner, Mildred Alexander of Sherman Oaks, hopes he brings home winning cups.
