Johnny Morse was a 50-year employee and a pioneer in establishing tennis programs in Burbank. He initially formed the Burbank Municipal Tennis Club. He retired in October 1977 but was rehired to a part time Special Activity leader position at the McCambridge Park Rifle Range. His interest and dedication were the catalysts in molding the tennis programs of today. The tennis court at McCambridge Park was dedicated in his name on October 27, 1990. In this photo he is standing next to the dedication plaque.
