Description
Saigon: South Vietnamese Pres. Tran Van Huong's (R) efforts to form a coalition government acceptable to the Communists has bogged down. The political morass developed 4/24 when Huong accepted the resignation of the entire cabinet and called in supporters of Gen. Duong Van (Big) Minh (C) to try to form a coalition that would include the Viet Cong. Minh's supporters want Huong to step down and named Minh President. But Senate leader Tran Van Lam (L) says he wants the Presidency if Huong resigns.
