Description
Photograph of the Log Cabin of the Hotel Casa Loma in Redlands, California, ca.1910. A log house stands at center with a row of wooden rocking chairs sitting in the shade of the front porch. Rows of plants lie in the yard in the foreground on the right while short, round trees stand in front of the house on the left. Taller trees stand next to electrical lines on the far left while a row of trees separate the land from another large house in the background on the right. The cabin was located on East Sun Avenue and Alta Street, behind the hotel. According to Sanborn maps it was used as a ballroom.
