Drucker interviews Dudley Hafner in his audio book, “The Nonprofit Drucker.” This tape is part of the series, “People and Relationships.” Drucker begins by introducing Hafner as the Executive Vice President and CEO of the American Heart Association. Hafner discusses the variety of roles within an organization, and where to properly place each worker. He talks about setting goals for an organization on the state level. He describes how he sees each donor as a potential volunteer. Hafner discusses the importance of increasing responsibility for volunteers. He talks about how to strengthen an institution with people. He ends the interview by saying that keeping up with old volunteers is just as important as soliciting new ones.
