Photograph of a drawing of the fledgling city of Oceanside distributed in an advertisement for the Maxson and Griffin Real Estate Brokers, ca.1905. The drawing occupies the top three quarters of the image and shows the Oceanside coastline from the water. The land has been leveled and divided by straight streets, and several houses and other buildings have been built. A small crowd of people is gathered on the beach. At the bottom of the image is the ad for the real estate company: "See office of Maxson & Griffin, Real Estate Brokers, St. Cloud Hotel, three story brick, across railroad on Cleveland Street, Country Property a Specialty References, Consolidated Bank of San Diego Bank of Oceanside Oceanside, Cal".
