Photograph article dated September 8, 1956 partially reads, "'You're never to [sic] old - or never too young to preach the Gospel,' contends the Rev. Emil A. Balliet, pastor North Hollywood Assembly of God Church, 11455 Burbank Blvd. This fact the local minister proves tomorrow in two special homecoming day services, welcoming members of all ages back to church from their vacation season. Elder S. S. Scull, 93-year-old veteran preacher and pioneer pastor of the North Hollywood Assembly over 30 years ago, will speak from the local pulpit at the 11 a.m. service... Elder Scull, visiting in Southern California from his Mesa, Arizona home, says he retired in 1950 after 69 years in the ministry. He pastored the local church for three years." Pictured is Rev. Elder S. S. Scull.
