Anthony Sawiki is a father who couldn't bear to see neighborhood children playing in the streets, and so rather than just deploring the situation, he did something about it. Making use of his unusual mechanical ability, he constructed a miniature amusement park in the yard of his home. Now the neighborhood children crowd the place daily to the relief and delight of their parents. Sawiki is shown giving his daughter, Diane and playmate, Pete Limole, a ride on the miniature ferris wheel. Photo dated: July 9, 1950.
