Description
This circa-1955 photograph shows several storefronts on the south side of K Street between 13th and 14th streets. Dohrmann’s at 1326 K St. opened in 1952, offering more than 200 patterns from nationally known brands of dinnerware, silverware and glassware. Hall’s at 1324 K St. was operated by North Sacramento resident Howard Hall. To the right of the photograph are Fashion Fabrics at 1318 K St. and See’s Candies at 1312 K St. On the far right of the photograph is a portion of the marquee for the Sherman Clay and Company music store at 1312 K St.
