Brass base, 4-pin. The base is stamped on one side, "De Forest Audion U.S. Patent Nos. 841387-879532 Sold Only For Amateur Experimental Use." The other side bears the Marconi logo and Fleming patent number. Stickers on the bulb read: A-65-75 V-42-83 5.3.22 3 4.27 D. .7 .9 38v 8w D.X
