Description
Photograph caption dated October 11, 1979 reads, "Actor Paul Winfield was one of more than 200 protestors, including Ed Asne, Dennis Weaver, denouncing the entertainment industry's portrayal of women and minorities yesterday. Sponsored by the Screen Actors Guild, demonstrators marched in front of the offices of the Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers on Beverly Boulevard. The group of actors also alleged contract violations by the association. Mayor Tom Bradley gave the demonstration his support. A similar protest took place in New York."
