Description
Black baseball cap with mesh back. The number 682 is sewn onto the front in white fabric. A paper label has been stapled to the brim that reads, "TSGT J. HOFFMAN." This cap was used on the softball team at the Almaden Air Force Base at Mount Umunham south of San Jose. 1st Sargent James Hoffman was stationed at the base from 1978 to 1980. He worked in the Personnel Office.
