Photograph shows the Gethsemani proposed brothers in 1952, Kentuckey. In 1952, 26 brothers from the Abbey of Gethsemani came to Vina, Tehama County, California to found the Abbey of New Clairvaux. These were the laybrothers in life vows (professed) never ordained as priests. The abbot (with cross) is Dom James Fox and the Father Master of the Brothers (their immediate superior).
