Photograph article date stamped April 28, 1964 partially reads, "The 10-round main event pairs the pride of San Fernando, undefeated Manuel Ramos, and Sammy Pride, heavyweight boss of the Rocky Mountains and reportedly one of Colorado's best if not only heavyweight prospects. Ramos, who lays claim to the heavyweight championship of Mexico, will be gunning for his 12th straight victory and third consecutive at the Vineland Avenue arena. He has kayoed nine opponents." Photograph caption reads, "Mexican bomber - Manuel Ramos, seen ripping away at one of his 11 victims, is featured in the 10-round main event tonight at the Valley Garden Arena against Sammy Pride of Colorado."
