Photograph of a view of Avalon Bay and Sugarloaf, ca.1887. Several boats can be seen out in the bay: two sailboats, one of which is Capt. Alonso Wheeler's Ruby Schooner, are seen with two small flatboats in the portion of the bay in front of the mountain ridge and hill pictured in the background. A Warrior steamboat can be seen in the distance between the ridge and the hill. Picture file card reads: "His [Captain Wheeler's] daughter Annie and Genevieve at Baldwin Park.".
