Charles S. Howard, owner of Seabiscuit, bought Noor (1945-1974), an Irish-bred Thoroughbred racehorse Champion, in 1949.
Photograph caption dated February 26, 1950 reads, "Harry James and his actress wife, Betty Grable, two of Hollywood's most ardent race enthusiasts, watch Noor's thrilling victory from the swank Turf Club." This was taken during the Golden Gallup at Santa Anita.
