Photograph caption dated May 14, 1964 partially reads, "The North Hills Republican Women's Club will sponsor its annual spring dinner-dance Saturday at the Glen-Aire Country Club, 3910 Stansbury Ave., Sherman Oaks. Making red, white and blue topiary trees for table decorations are, from left, Mmes. Dean W. Sheppard, Chatsworth, ways and means chairman; Lloyd Washburn, Northridge, and James H. Quinn, Granada Hills. Also assisting are Mmes. Stanley Townsend, Warren Webb and Donald Bissell. Social hour will be at 7 p.m., dinner at 8 p.m. Dancing to the music of Ted Romersa and his orchestra will follow."
