Image shows Earl A. McDonnell residence, located on Via Pinale on lot 4, block 1621, tract 6885 in Malaga Cove. View looking northeast shows rear and west façade of the single story, five-room stucco house with garage and tile roof. House was later owned by H.R. Shupp, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Heinz (1928.) Visible at left an automobile, parked in front of the Howard Hoyle residence, located at 2501 Via Pinale. A eucalpytus grove is visible in background.
