Description
Photograph caption dated July 21, 1987 reads, "It was something that could only happen in HOLLYWOOD, er, 'Ollywood.' Fascination with Lt. Col. Oliver North, one of the main Iranscam figures, hit Tinseltown overnight after a band of self-styled 'environmental artists' altered the famous sign--without authorization. But the glory proved short-lived. The hidden 'H' soon was uncovered."
