Description
Verne Jobst, pilot and president of the International Aerobatics Club of America, is welcomed to the Capital City. He is standing in front of a duplicate of the Spirit of St. Louis and dressed as Charles Lindbergh would have been; he was on a 50th anniversary tour to commemorate the 1927 flight. Later, Jobst flew for 40 years with United Airlines.
