“View from her garden.” Landscape view from the garden of Mrs Louisa Carr, wife of Ernest Carr (1868-1939) and mother of Margaret Irvine, who moved into a small cottage on the Chogoria mission after the death of her husband in 1939. ❧ The image is from the first twenty years of the Chogoria mission in Kenya, which was run by the Rev. Dr Archibald Clive Irvine (1893-1974), from the collection entitled ‘Chogoria, glimpses into the past’.
