A team of horses at center draws a wheeled apparatus bearing two men along ruts in a large dirt lot. A workman on the ground at the left edge of the image works the dirt with a shovel. Several sets of parallel ruts can be seen in the dirt in the fore- and centergrounds. A section of the grandstand sits in the background at center, with several men on its roof.
