Photograph caption dated March 16, 1964 reads "La Rayne Richards, 'Miss Van Nuys,' tries an orange on the opening day of the National Orange Show in San Bernardino. The parachutist handing her the golden fruit is part of the show's Van Nuys Chamber of Commerce display. The annual exhibit will continue through March 22."
