Description
Pair of long silver processional candlesticks at Mission San Carlos Borromeo, Monterey, ca.1906. The photograph shows only the top portion of them. They each consist basically of a slender rod but they develop into a bulb shape decorated with leaves. On top of each bulb, there is a saucer that holds a partially used candle. The candlesticks rest against a wall with several large cracks.
