Photograph caption dated February 19, 1959 reads, "Tarzana Mariners Elmer and Bernice Goodman, left, and Bob and Ruth Hessler rub noses before returning to plans for club's Alaska party to be held at 7 p.m. tomorrow at St. James Presbyterian Church, 19414 Ventura Blvd. New skippers and first mates, respectively, they will be in charge of dinner-meeting. Evening's fun will include snowshoe and dog sled races and panning for Yukon gold."
