Title supplied by cataloger. Pictured are steam-driven threshing machines used during harvesting at a Van Nuys ranch. The verso identifies the threshing machines as combined outfits belonging to the Home Ranch and West Ranch. Both ranches were built and financed by Isaac Newton Van Nuys who, partnered with Isaac Lankershim, and later James Boone Lankershim, owned and operated much of the land in the San Fernando Valley.
