A large sign points to the entrace to the Public Dump. Thanks to the work of Henry C. Soto, the roads have been improved, smoothed, graded and kept clean. Now the five-acre portion of the 17-acre dumpsite that has not yet been filled is concealed behind this neat and attractive bamboo fence and healthy plants surround the area. Later the fence will be removed and patio, tables, chairs and other public facilities will be built. The big sign was necessary because dump truckers just couldn't believe this was a dumpsite!
