Description
Shown is a 1985 artist's rendering of a proposed office complex called “The Docks." This 10-story complex near Garden Highway along the Sacramento River would have hosted six hundred apartment units, a hotel, a restaurant, and an expansion for the California Railroad Museum. Long-time land developer and Sacramento resident Angelo Tsakopoulos proposed the design, but zoning restrictions and court battles with residents lead to the project's cancellation.
