Description
San Francisco: The Son Tay Raiders & the POWs they tried to rescue from North Vietnam are the stars in this downtown motorcade, led by car (front, R) with Col. Robinson Risner (R) senior US POW in N. Vietnam, & Maj. Gen. L. Manor (L), waving to crowd from back seat. The 66 POWs who were supposed to be rescued in the Son Tay raid, and the 59 men who participated in the rescue attempt, were guests of Texas millionaire Ross Perot and the City of San Francisco.
