Photograph caption dated July 23, 1959 reads "Three UCLA Bruin football linemen, from left, Tono [sic] Longo, Ben Treat and Jim Wallace try a new formation with a couple of ball-carrying beach cuties, Pam Cox, left, and Wilma Zide, in fun session on the Santa Monica sands. Bruins open practice for real on Sept. 1, and their first game is with Purdue Sept. 18 at the Coliseum."
