Photograph of the steamship City of Los Angeles in San Pedro Harbor, 1920-1940. The large ship is headed to the left and has a light-colored hull. Several small portholes are visible along the hull. There is a mast near the bow with two small cranes attached. There are many people visible on the decks, especially near on the superstructure near the middle of the ship. Two dark-colored smokestacks are visible at center. The water around the ship is calm and smooth.
