Photograph caption dated September 30, 1961 reads "Los Angeles County's newest incorporated city, the tiny, extreme West Valley city of Hidden Hills, was welcomed by Supervisor Warren Dorn (second from right), in whose district the city lies. Hidden Hills became the county's 73rd incorporated city when its residents voted, 358-71, in favor of incorporation and elected councilmen (from left) Louis F. Knue, George Hartstone, Robert C. Malneritch, Chairman John R. Hansen Jr., (Dorn) and William A. Snyder."
