The Antelope Valley Fair and Alfalfa Festival is held annually at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, 2551 West Avenue H, in Lancaster, California. Photograph caption dated September 7, 1957 reads "Jack-in-the-box float of the Pearlblossom Chamber of Commerce, was named sweepstakes winner in the organizational division of the Antelope Valley Fair. Other divisional sweepstakes winners included Starksen Chevrolet, commercial division, and Dr. J. Lowell Hammond or Ridgecrest, mounted division. Fair concludes tomorrow with rodeo and fireworks display."
