Description
Instrument used to determine the voltage of a high voltage source, probably calibrated by distance between the gap (between the sphere and the plate below). The greater the distance that the spark would jump, the higher the voltage. Pin connectors on front of base. Small tag attached with calibration notes: "Calibrated 50-25-10 5 KV" on one side and "Calibrated 4-27-45 ELM" on the other.
