This eight-horse team and carriage stands proudly in front of Mt. Lowe Railway livery barn and carriage house. For two years the carriage house was used as a church, and for six weeks it was the town's first school. Later on, the millionaires began moving in, and things changed. Photo dated: February 9, 1962.
